Introduction
This guide provides a clear overview of the steps you need to take to setup your DashBod HR system.
Once you have finished setting up DashBod HR, you will be able to start using our HR features such as Payroll/Attendance management, CPF computation and others.
Ensure that you do not skip any steps as each step must be completed before moving on to the next.

1. Start Up Wizard
The Start Up Wizard will help you to set up your company profile on DashBod and is the first step every DashBod user must complete to get started.
The wizard will guide you through a series of forms to fill in such as bank account details and pro-forma invoices.
2. Creating Departments
Creating Departments lets you assign managers to each department, making it easy to administrate claims and leave for employees as all this data will be sent straight to the department head.
3. Creating Job Positions
Job Positions can only be created after setting up your departments. This function allows you to create various job positions within the company, create new job openings or indicate an employees job position.
4. Importing Employee Data
Importing your Employee Data is one of the most important steps in this guide, as you can only start using Dashbod’s HR functions once you have correctly entered all your employee data.
5. Creating a Working Schedule
Proper creation of a Working Schedule is essential for DashBod
to generate a accurate payroll for all employees, as it helps to calculate an employee’s daily wages.
6. Importing Employment Terms
Importing Employment Terms covers the employees salary/wages, allowances, medical benefits and ceilings and even standard deductions.
7. Expense Types
Setting up Expense Types are important as every company has a set of expense claim types unique to themselves.
8. Leave Policy
Having a proper Leave Policy in place will make for easier leave management, as different employees will have different annual leave entitlements.
